We are seeking a detail-oriented Collection Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for contacting individuals and businesses to collect outstanding debts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct door-to-door visits to tenants' residences to collect rent payments.
• Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor while interacting with tenants.
• Accurately record all rent payments
• Address any questions or concerns tenants may have regarding rent payments.
• Communicate effectively with the landlord regarding rent collection status and any issues encountered.
• Ensure timely submission of collected rents to the landlord or designated office.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to rent collection and tenant interactions.
• Report any incidents, disputes, or difficulties experienced during rent collection to the landlord.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in rent collection, property management, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Working Conditions:

• This position involves frequent travel to various tenant locations.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate tenants' schedules.
• The job may require walking, standing, and carrying rent collection materials for extended periods.
