We have an immediate staffing need for an Accounts Payable Utility Clerk in Germantown, TN!

Duties and responsibilities:

• Utility invoice keying and other data entry. Must be fast but accurate. This will be the primary responsibility.
• Troubleshoots high priority items. Assists team with exception research / resolution (e.g. Open Credits or Refunds)
• Liaises with utility vendors to resolve issues (name change, revert to owner agreements etc.)
• Performs other related duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business

Skills and qualifications:

• Knowledge of accounts payable procedures
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently
• Ability to utilize judgment to establish the accuracy and reasonableness of information
• Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving methods
• Ability to perform detailed work in a fast-paced environment
• Skill in working well with people of different backgrounds inside and outside of the organization
• Skill to communicate verbally clearly and concisely and in writing
• Skill in organizing, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines
• Experience with the various data points in utility bills (preferred)
