Responsibilities
- Process invoices and payments for the portfolio
- Manage accounting payables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies
- Verify, classify, compute, post, and record accounts payables data
- Handle vendor inquiries and assist in reconciliation of vendor statements
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure proper posting
- Analyze and manage queues in Avid Exchange
- Assist with generating financial statements and accounts payable reports
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required
- Perform periodic vendor analytics and build relationships with vendors
- Support the Property Management team in relationship building
- 1-3 years of Accounts Payable experience in real estate operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience with Avid Exchange and Yardi is mandatory
- Strong proficiency with MS Office applications
- Ability to self-monitor, self-motivate, and handle workplace problems effectively
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive, outgoing personality
- Capable of handling changing priorities and deadlines
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
