Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Lead the financial reporting process, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance on best practices and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Manage and coordinate the annual audit process, collaborating with external auditors to ensure a smooth and timely audit.
- Conduct regular reviews of internal controls and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing valuable insights for financial planning.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of prior experience in accounting or finance roles.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or relevant professional certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience with managing and leading a team is preferred.
