They have an opening for a Fund Accountant who will be responsible for controlling two of the three funds and doing investor reporting on a quarterly basis - producing financial statements.
Responsibilities
- Record daily cash activity in Yardi accounting database utilizing IM module, if applicable.
- Execute treasury support for multiple Fund investments by processing transfers and wires in coordination with Portfolio and Development accounting teams and prepare bank reconciliations
- Prepare daily capital call receipt reports and distribute them to management.
- Update work papers included in a quarterly package, as requested.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 3 years of public accounting and/or commercial real estate accounting experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Well organized, accurate, thorough, and able to consistently meet deadlines with high-quality work products.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word is required.
- Yardi experience preferred.
