Propper International is Hiring an Amazon Order Specialist Near Dickson, TN

This Amazon Specialist position starts off at $20.00 an hour. A Day In The LifeAs our Amazon Order Specialist, your day begins by accessing the Amazon Vendor Central portal to review and process new orders. You follow Amazon's routing instructions, ensuring every order is accurately entered and updated. Throughout the day, you track all orders-new, routed, problematic, or shipped-keeping our records current. When issues arise, you promptly inform management for swift resolution.
You adhere to our Standard Operating Procedures to maintain consistency and compliance. You follow up on orders to ensure timely processing and completion. Your role includes performing clerical duties, responding professionally to customer inquiries, and providing accurate information to resolve issues.
You manage records of collections and payments, ensuring they align with corporate policies. You reconcile and verify billings for accuracy and document route accounting activities clearly.
Compliance is key in your role, ensuring all corporate policies in route settlement functions are met with high standards of integrity and accuracy. You troubleshoot shipping problems promptly and monitor on-time dock performance, addressing any issues that impact schedules. Updating Staging POD 5s and managing resource allocation are also your responsibilities.
You maintain performance tracking metrics for on-time dock performance, utilization, and misloads, providing regular reports to management. Your understanding of shipping requirements, rules, and obligations ensures smooth and compliant operations.
The Right Candidate Will HaveThe ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate degree or higher preferred. They will bring previous experience in a similar role or in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management. Proficiency in using Amazon Vendor Central and Apprise systems is essential, along with a strong understanding of shipping requirements, rules, and obligations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, are crucial. The ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are all vital. Additionally, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively will ensure success in this role.
