Location: Tulsa, OK
Pay: $65,000 to $83,000/year (Depending on experience)
Experience: Eight (8) years of human resource management-related work experience.
Education:
- Associate's degree (required).
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred).
- PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift
ProRecruiters is seeking an HR Generalist to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Ensure organizational compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Understanding of legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll, 401k contributions, and payroll journal entries.
- Conduct investigations into complex employee issues or conflicts and work toward their resolution.
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions.
- Collaborate with departmental managers to understand the skills and competencies required for openings.
- Facilitate training as needed and maintain the Employee Handbook.
- Administer and execute human resource programs.
- Perform annual reviews of job descriptions to ensure accuracy.
- Full understanding of HR functions, best practices, and strategies.
- Thorough knowledge of related state and federal labor laws and legislation.
- Social media savvy for purposes of recruiting.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, and integrity.
- Resourceful, collaborative, and adaptable with the ability to think on your feet.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
