Location: Catoosa, OK
Pay: $25 /hr (depending on experience)
Experience: Related experience desired
Education: High school diploma or GED
Type: Full-time; Contract
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day & Night Shift available
ProRecruiters is seeking a Welder (Header Fitter) to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Proficient in blueprint reading for layout
- Fit and weld fabricated and forged components to assemble Header components with Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding, and/or Gas Tungsten Arc Welding process
- Position, align, and fit components together; tack-weld parts to secure them in position for welding using the correct welding process and procedure
- Set up welding equipment for specific materials being used
- Proficient with a cutting torch and/or plasma cutter
- Maintains production record of parts and jobs fabricated as required by the Department Manager
- Ability to read and use measuring devices such as tape measures, squares, levels, etc.
- Regular attendance with the ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced environment
- Interchange and collaborate with others in the department
