Job Title: Customer Service Representative (Temp to Hire)

Location: Portland, Maine

Job Description:

Our client is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual for the role of Customer Service Representative! This position involves handling inbound calls from customers who are placing orders, inquiring about pricing, or seeking status updates. If you thrive in a customer-oriented environment and have a knack for handling inquiries with a friendly demeanor, this is the job for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inbound Calls: Handle incoming calls from customers, assisting them with placing orders, pricing inquiries, and status updates.
  • Order Entry: Accurately and efficiently enter customer orders into the system, ensuring all details are captured correctly.
  • Customer Assistance: Provide friendly and helpful assistance to customers, addressing their queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • PC Skills: Utilize basic computer skills to navigate specific systems, with training provided as necessary.
  • Time Management: Balance phone interactions and order entry tasks effectively, ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries.

Shift Availability:

  • Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
  • Monday to Friday, 12 PM - 8 PM

Requirements:

  • Basic PC Skills: Comfortable using a computer; specific system training will be provided.
  • Customer Service Experience: Candidates with backgrounds in retail, banking, or hospitality excel in this role.
  • Communication: Friendly and professional communication skills, especially during customer interactions.
  • Adaptability: Ability to handle various shifts and adapt to changing customer inquiries.
  • Immediate Availability: Immediate availability to start the position.

Compensation:

  • $20/hr (Day Shifts, 9a-5p)
  • $22/hr (Day Shifts, 12p-8p)
