Location: North Shore, MA (Hybrid Schedule)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and certified Salesforce Developer to join a dynamic organization located in the North Shore of MA. This role involves a hybrid work schedule, combining on-site and remote work. The ideal candidate is someone who has evolved their Salesforce expertise from administrative duties to development, showcasing a deep understanding of both the platform's functional and technical aspects. The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining custom solutions within the Salesforce platform. The role will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, develop tailored solutions, and ensure the optimal performance and scalability of our Salesforce instance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, etc. as well as custom reports, dashboards, and workflows.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Stay updated with the latest Salesforce releases, features and best practices.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Salesforce related issues.
• Contribute to training sessions and creation of documentation for users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I required; Developer II preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer after being Administrator.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration options including workflows, Process Builder and custom objects.
• Comfort and familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Flosum.
• Ability to be in-person, on-site at least 2 days a week is a must.

Preferred Skills

• Additional Salesforce certifications.
• Familiarity with third-party integrations (e.g., SAP or Sitecore) and applications.
• Experience with Sales Cloud and/or Service Clou
