Overview 

Prosegur Security is looking for Part-Time & Per Diem Armed Security Officers for one of our Healthcare networks in the New London, CT area with a strong work ethic and quality customer service skills. Prosegur is one of the largest security providers in the world, consisting of over 160,000 employees in over 30 countries. We are looking for Security professionals that want to grow and develop professionally in our organization. 

Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:
 

• Follow established Hospital and Department standard precautions and procedures in the in the performance of all job duties to ensure a safe work environment for everyone.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements and specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
• Meet Hospital attendance and punctuality requirements to be on your assigned post on time to ensure proper coverage and quality services to patients, visitors and employees.
