*Document Scanning Technician*

Small, locally owned document shredding company is seeking a document scanning technician for its document scanning division. All document scanning employees report directly to the Operations Manager, document scanning technician will complete client scanning projects to specifications with a high degree of integrity, discretion, and efficiency. We are looking for candidates that have a high attention to detail, works well independently with limited supervision and thrives in a small company environment. 

*Job Duties and Responsibilities*

* Complete scanning services projects to specifications agreed to with the client, including on time cost and quality control

* Become proficient in our scanning software

* Operate high volume scanners 

* Operate image handling software

* Operate MS Office and email systems

* Maintain Quality Control logs

* Ensure scanners are working properly, checking for performance capability

* Clear paper jams and inform technicians of specific problems

* Ensure storage and operations areas are kept neat and organized

* High level of communication with manager and clients to ensure highest efficiency and effectiveness

* Performs other duties as assigned

*Qualifications*

* Requires high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience 

* Some related scanning job experience is preferred

* Valid driver's license

* Must be able to lift up to 40lbs

* Demonstrated competency in basic computer skills including proficiency in MS Office Suite

* Ability to work legally in the USA

* Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening test

* Pass criminal background check, no felony are acceptable

* Full time position

* Monday to Friday Start and end times can be flexible after training period is completed

* Pay rate of $24.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on experience

* Medical and dental benefits available after 90 probation period

* 401k program available after 1 year of employment
