Scanning Technician

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this person completes client scanning projects to specifications with a high degree of integrity, discretion, and efficient. You are served well by your attention to detail and your ability to work independently in a small company. With reasonable advance noticed, your availability is flexible from part time/piece work to full time depending on the workload. You can demonstrate that trustworthiness and dependability will never be an issue, and that customers will love doing business with you. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete scanning services projects to specifications agreed to with the client, including on time cost and quality control
• Become proficient in our scanning software
• Operate high volume scanners 
• Operate image handling software
• Operate MS Office and email systems
• Maintain Quality Control logs
• Ensure scanners are working properly, checking for performance capability
• Clear paper jams and inform technicians of specific problems
• Answer customer questions regarding status or feasibility of job requests
• Ensure storage and operations areas are kept neat and organized
• Perform duties related to the shipping and/or receiving of materials 
• High level of communication with manager and clients to ensure highest efficiency and effectiveness
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience 
• Some related scanning job experience is preferred
• May require a valid driver's license
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
• Demonstrated competency in basic computer skills including proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Ability to work legally in the USA
