Primary Objectives & Summary: The Account Manager is responsible for servicing new and existing clients and helping to maintain positive client relationships, providing high quality of service to assigned accounts with a focus on the profitability of the business to the agency.

Required:
Florida 220 Property & Casualty license with > 2 years Industry Experience
Knowledge of customer service functions such as rating, marketing, claims handling and coverage information
Strong commitment to service for the agency's clients
Effective written and verbal communications skills
Effective and efficient use of computer and related equipment
Good organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to respond to requests effectively and efficiently
Industry designations are promoted and funded by the agency
Performance Expectations:
Have work current on a weekly basis
Meet agency growth and retention goals
Work well with underwriters and fellow employees of the agency
Assist the customer cooperatively and courteously
Meet agency continuing education requirements
Work independently and carry out assignments to completion with minimum instruction
Physical Requirements Necessary on a Regular Basis:

Ability to sit at a desk or PC terminal for an extended period of time (7-8 hours per day).
Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion enough for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone 7-8 hours a day
Speech and hearing enough for in-person and telephone communication 7-8 hours per day.
Vision enough for use of computer monitor.
Must to able to perform physical efforts required to minimally perform the position to include keying as a repetitive activity, grasping, talking to communicate detailed and important information to others accurately, stooping, reaching, standing, climbing stairs and ability to lift object up to 10 pounds.
