Staffed with experienced professionals committed to excellence, this 148-bed facility provides a welcoming environment for Bear Mountain's patient-centered approach to care, promoting healing, recovery, and comfort. Our comprehensive continuum of healthcare services includes Post-Acute Care, Short-Term Rehabilitation, Long-Term and Respite Care. Our facility is staffed with healthcare professionals who attend to every patient's needs.
Purpose of job Position : The primary purpose of the Unit Manager position is to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained to all times.
Delegation of Authority: As Unit Manager you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.
Job Function: Every effort has been made to identify the essential functions of this position. However, it in no way states or implies that these are the only duties you will be required to perform. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or is an essential function of the position.
ScheduleHours will flex to meet the needs of the facility. Typical shift will be M-F 9a-5pm, with on-call rotation every third weekend. Some 12-hr shifts (7a-7p) will be required in the case of a call out, where UM would need to be on a cart.
