Job Description: Prosper Construction is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Carpenters to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals eager to learn the carpentry trade from experienced professionals. The successful candidates will work alongside our skilled carpenters, gaining hands-on experience and developing the skills necessary to become a qualified carpenter.

Responsibilities:

• Assist journeyman carpenters with various construction and carpentry tasks.
• Learn and perform tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling wood structures.
• Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients.
• Use hand tools and power tools under supervision.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and building codes.
• Participate in training sessions and apprenticeship programs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interest in carpentry and construction work.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction or carpentry (not required, but a plus).
• Enrollment in a carpentry apprenticeship program.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
