Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities in various settings, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
- Administer medication and assist with medical appointments as needed
- Create a safe and supportive environment for individuals in group homes or hospice care
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergencies promptly
- Implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each person

Qualifications
- Previous experience in direct support, home health, social work, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of working with people with disabilities and understanding their needs
- CPR /First Aid certification is a plus

- Therapeutic Options (TOVA)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills and empathy towards others
