Location: Portland, OR 97204 (Local Candidates only)
Duration: 06 months (Potential Extension)

Pay rate: $ 65.00/hr - $ 75.00/hr.
SUMMARY:
This role requires a blend of technical and managerial expertise, with a focus on leading teams and projects to align with business objectives, while also being adept at communication and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Product Development: Leading the digitization of utility line operations using cloud technologies like AWS and Snowflake.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Involves strategy planning, progress coordination, and risk mitigation, with regular updates and interactions with stakeholders.
- Project Management: Tracking progress, planning with team members, setting up roadmaps and milestones, team norming, and budget planning.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Leading major or multiple moderate projects related to business systems, process improvements, reorganizations, and strategy implementations.
- Consulting with operations managers for strategic alignment and cost-effectiveness.
- Developing project plans and ensuring compliance with project management standards.
- Managing project budget, scope, quality, schedule, and risks.
- Communicating project status to stakeholders and leading business process improvement activities.
- Acting as a change agent for continuous improvement and maintaining project documentation.
- Building key relationships and mentoring other project managers or leads.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Certification Requirements (Any Preferences): PMP and scrum master certifications– nice to have.
- How many years of experience are you looking for?: 5-7 years experience
- Utilities experience is a plus but not required.
Top 3 Must-Haves:
- Leadership in iterative product development.
- Management of multiple agile teams, including remote teams.
- Strong planning, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
