Position Overview:

As an HR Business Partner specializing in employee relations, you will play a critical role in fostering a positive and productive work environment within the company. You will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to managers and employees on a wide range of employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations while promoting a culture of fairness, respect, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing advice, guidance, and resolution strategies to managers and employees.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary matters, ensuring fairness, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Compliance, and HR Leadership, to develop and implement effective employee relations strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide training and coaching to managers on effective communication, conflict resolution, and performance management techniques.
  • Stay abreast of relevant employment laws and regulations, proactively advising management on compliance requirements and potential risks.
  • Partner with HR colleagues to develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs that promote a positive employee experience and foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Monitor trends and metrics related to employee relations issues, identifying areas for improvement and recommending proactive solutions.
  • Support HR initiatives and projects as needed, contributing to the overall success of the HR team and the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification preferred.
  • 5 years of progressive experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations and conflict resolution within a pharmaceutical or life sciences environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices, with the ability to apply them in a practical and effective manner.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting investigations, managing complex employee relations issues, and providing sound advice and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
  • High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism, with a commitment to promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
