Job Summary:
ProStaffing is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join the team of a manufacturing company located in Hickory, NC. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of their warehouse and ensuring efficient and effective workflow. Your strong leadership skills and attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining high productivity levels and meeting customer demands.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and support
- Monitor inventory levels and implement effective inventory control measures
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery of goods
- Implement and enforce safety protocols in accordance with OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to improve overall warehouse efficiency and resolve any operational issues
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of team members and provide constructive feedback for improvement
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to increase productivity

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse management or supervision is required
- Strong knowledge of logistics, warehouse operations, and inventory control
- Proficient in using AS400 or similar warehouse management systems
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members at all levels of the organization
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
