Position Title: Director, Information Security Architecture

Location: Minneapolis, MN or Scottsdale, AZ

Term: Full-time/Direct Hire

Who are we looking for

Our direct client is currently seeking a Director, Information Security Architecture, in the Information Security Team. The Information Security Architecture team leads and sets the strategy for how security is implemented. As a key member and leader in information Security, you will lead a team responsible for the design and implementation of effective and efficient security solutions to protect the organization’s IT assets.

Your Responsibilities

• Partner to develop and implement business objectives, security best practices, and long-range strategies
• Actively participate in Architecture Governance
• Own the strategic architecture for the Security domain
• Provide strategic leadership for the information security architecture team, setting goals, and objectives aligned with the overall security and business strategy
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning

Your Experience, Skills & Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field, from a four-year college or university. Master’s degree or post graduate degree or equivalent work experience preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure security, security engineering, application security, identity & access management, security operations, software development, software and system architecture, or other relevant security experiences
• Must have recent heavy experience with AWS & DevSecOps
• Proficient in implementing security architectures
• Proficiency with one or more security frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF or CIS Benchmarks
• Demonstrates key competencies such develop talent, builds effective teams, and situational awareness and adaptability
