Summary
Responsible for the general upkeep of the building and property. Inspects the premises on a daily basis to identify problems. Serves as the point of contact for all facilities and equipment maintenance, defect, and repair work. Perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance craft occupations to keep building structures in optimal conditions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for performing visual observation of Midrise and High-rise building components, site amenities, and mechanical equipment and immediately reporting all hazardous and life safety concerns to company managers
  • Testing and recommending maintenance procedures as necessary in order to maintain the building in the best possible safety conditions.
  • Read technical data and manufacture specifications and perform repairs and installations per specifications.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and handle necessary repairs, such as fixing drywall, painting, plaster, etc.
  • Read technical data and MSDS information to maintain high-level safety on jobs and follow the Safety Code of Conduct.
  • Assist with coworkers' needs as directed by Management.
  • Perform repairs and tasks as required per work orders or scope of work.
  • Procure and deliver materials for jobs.
  • Performs all work using best installation and application practices.
  • Maintain high-level safety on jobs and follow the safety code of conduct.
  • Performs clean, professional, up-to-code work.
  • Communicate field observations and job statuses to Management
  • Attend training and meetings as directed by Management.
  • Record all time and expenses in ProTec Connect Daily.
Requirements
Skills and Abilities
Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in at least 2 of the following trades: Steel Framing, Concrete, Electrical (lighting), Plumbing, Mechanical, Painting, Welding, Drywall, and Stucco. Experience working in mid-rise and high-rise buildings is a plus but not a requirement.
Certifications: Trade, OSHA, and Equipment Certifications are a plus but not a requirement.
Reliable Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license with no restrictions and no DUI or DWI incidents in the past 5 years. Reliable transportation is essential, as you'll need to transport and deliver materials and tools to worksites.
Tools: Proficient in using various construction, power, and hand tools.
Building Knowledge: Strong knowledge of mid-rise and high-rise construction materials, applications, and tools.
Communication Skills: Effective communication is vital for collaborating with colleagues and conveying field observations back to management.
Technology Needs: Basic computer skills, smartphone proficiency, and tablet use are all part of the job.
Safety First: Safety is paramount. You'll be responsible for adhering to the highest safety standards to protect yourself, your colleagues, and the worksite.
Physical Abilities: The role demands the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights, and handle extreme weather conditions. You'll also need to climb, balance, stoop, and kneel, sometimes for extended periods.
Compensation:
