We are seeking an Alarm System Technician to join our team! You will install and repair alarm wiring and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service - This is the most important aspect of what we provide our clients. You must be personable, well groomed, articulate and ready to provide exceptional customer service.
• Install and program new alarm and security systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarms and security systems
• Identify risk to customers and provide effective solutions
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on alarm systems
• Monitor inventory of service parts
• Inspection of security and fire alarm systems, service and diagnosis of issues, installation of parts.
• Prepares accurate service paperwork for installations and service jobs.
• Maintain a clean work vehicle and a clean work area while on jobs.
• Read and interpret manuals.
• Ability to utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools.
• We use scissor lifts. You must be ok with heights and operating machinery.
• Ability to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, crawl spaces, attics.
• Must have a clean driving record and valid Colorado drivers license
• Participates in on-call rotation.
• Ability to to work in teams or independent of the team.
• Must have no lifting restrictions and able to lift 50lbs minimum.
• Strong time management skills.
• Performs duties as assigned.
• Ability to adhere to code, company standards and requirements.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in security installation, maintenance, or other related fields. If you are experienced in another trade like HVAC, Electrical, etc., we will train the right person
• Must consent to pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Experience with burglar alarm installation and programming
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Bosch/Radionics certification or experience is a plus.
• OSHA 10/30 card - We will help you earn this if you do not have one)
• Applicant provides their own hand tools and power tools. We will supply some specialty tools.
• Flexible schedule is required; Some nights and weekend are required depending upon the projects assigned.
• Willingness to learn other skill sets and product lines.
• Basic Computer Knowledge.

Office is located in Broomfield Colorado. A reasonable commuting distance to our office is required.
