Job Description:
- The main function of an Azure DevOps / Test Engineer at this level is to apply configuration skills at a basic to intermediate level.
- The Test Engineer will design and develop test plans and should be familiar with at least one programming language.
- The candidate will get the experience to work with software Devices. As well as getting to work on Azure DevOps testing in drivers and UV.

- Perform repeatable testing procedures and processes.
- Create, manage and run Azure Pipelines
- Create and manage Azure Resources
- Interpret and modify code as required that may include YAML, C/C , C#, batch files, PowerShell, make files, and/or bicep.
- Write automation test scripts for simulating user interactions such as data entry, menu selections, mouse actions, data I/O, etc.
- Run BVT’s, debug, troubleshoot, report and escalate as necessary
- Be familiar with.NET and SML framework
- Develop programs in at least one language (such as C/C , VB, SQL, etc.).
- Read logical and physical data model diagrams
- Setting up and managing hardware lab
- Purpose of the team- The team owns end to end automation and is working on setting up a software automation lab for their organization.
- Key projects – The candidate will be assisting with basic hardware set up, run pre-defined set of tests, ensure lab hardware is functioning.
- Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm –This role will consist of 10% meetings, 30% coding, 60% heads down work.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science required and some business/functional knowledge and/or industry experience preferred.
- 2-4 years’ experience with 1 year of experience with Azure DevOps Experience, Powershell: C# and .NET. and with Python.
- Prior experience with Azure DevOps, Software testing experience in a Web-based or Windows client/server environment required
- Experience in development and/or database administration experience using a Microsoft product required
- Ability to read and write at least one programming language such as Python/C#, C/C
- Knowledge of software quality assurance practices, with strong testing aptitude
- Knowledge of personal computer hardware and peripherals required

- Job Type - Contract hire
- Client Location: Redmond, WA (onsite full time)
- Pay Rate Range: $46.50 -$59.hr
