Position Description: Protingent has an exciting contract opportunity for a Service Engineer 3 with our client located in Redmond, WA. This is 5 days a week onsite role.

Job Description:

• This role provides an opportunity to work on hololens, hybrid work of virtual and physical hardware, networking on the Microsoft campus, enterprise level.
• The main function of a Service Engineer is to design, develop, implement, test, and maintain business and computer applications software or specialized infrastructure including major enhancement of existing systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Fine-tune and improve a variety of sophisticated compute, storage, and network implementation projects.
• Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop solutions to meet client needs.
• Analyze and review enhancement requests and specifications.
• Respond to customer request tickets and bring issues to resolution.
• Implement system software, automation, policies, and cloud services and customize to client requirements.
• Prepare the detailed specifications and test plans for existing and new cloud services.
• Modify existing programs to new standards and conduct unit testing of developed programs.
• Create migration and redundancy plans for enterprise systems and implement on-prem and in the cloud.
• Perform post-implementation validation and resolve any bugs found during implantation and sustainment.
• Purpose of the team- Specialized internal IT team working on the Hololens program.
• Key projects – This role will focus on design, develop, implement, test, and maintain business and computer applications software or specialized infrastructure including major enhancement of existing systems.
• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm –This role will be made up of 10% meetings, 70% Azure configuration, and 20% work with physical hardware.

MUST HAVES:

• 4 years’ experience with Azure or AWS
• 2 years’ experience with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft Intune
• 2 years of experience with PowerShell scripting against Windows and Azure APIs
• The ideal resume would showcase high level of experience with Azure or AWS!

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, information technology or related field
• 5-7 years of experience required
• 4 years hands-on experience with Azure or AWS
• 2 years hands-on experience with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft Intune
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting against Windows and Azure APIs
• A solid foundation in complex, large scale, enterprise hybrid services and systems
• Experience performing in-depth troubleshooting both new and legacy production systems
• Experience in programming, scripting, and problem diagnosis and resolution
• Demonstrated communication and cross-group collaboration skills
• Ability to manage several schedule-critical tasks while delivering results and solutions on time
