Job Summary:
We are currently seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (ER RNs) to join our team for a 13-week assignment starting on June 142024. The ER RNs will provide high-quality care to patients in our emergency department. Candidates must possess ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications and have a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
Responsibilities:
- Triage, assess, and prioritize patients based on their condition and urgency of care.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions and modify care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their condition and treatment plan.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.
Qualifications:
- RN license.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in an emergency department or critical care setting.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations.
- Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
