About the Role:
- Provide high quality medication management to program patients using appropriate evidence-based interventions, monitor treatment progress, change or discontinue ineffective treatment.
- Collaborate with Medical Director and other members of the interdisciplinary team, seeks consultation and supervision as necessary.
- Contribute to an environment where staff want to work and clients want to receive treatment.
- Contribute to program development (i.e., implementing new procedures or systems) to improve patient care or team functioning.
- Work collaboratively with the Medical Director to provide patient assessment, formulate treatment plans, prescribe medications, order laboratory tests, interpret test results, provide patient education, and complete required documentation.
- Provide primary medical care services and referrals as indicated.
- Participate in the on-call rotation.
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited educational institution
- Massachusetts licensure as Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nurse
- ANCC certification as a Psych NP
- 1-2 Years of experience required
- Comfortable working with ages of 14-25 years old
- Outpatient
- Day program
- Behavioral Health
