ResponsibilitiesShamrock Trading Corporation and ProTransport are looking for a Business Development Representative. This is an entry level software sales position responsible for prospecting and cultivating relationships with new business customers. As a Business Development Representative you will jump-start your sales career by showcasing the benefits of our software solution to prospective clients with the goal of expanding our customer base. An ideal candidate will be highly motivated, eager to learn and be passionate about a career in sales. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Source and develop new business opportunities
Coordinate and schedule software demos for qualified leads and prospects with Business Development Managers
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships and communication
Conduct outbound prospecting activities to generate new leads for software demos
Present the features and benefits of ProTransport’s software solutions to potential customers.
Analysis of existing client accounts with the goal of identifying upselling and cross-selling sales growth opportunities
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of requests and solutions according to client needs and objectives
Communicate the status of all client relationships clearly and timely
Continually refine all processes as necessary to stay in front of customers in relevant industries
Track metrics for all programs and activities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of customer service or account management experience
Passion to learn and relationship driven
Desire to work in a competitive sales and team environment
Excellent computer skills (Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite)
Highly organized with the ability to multi-task
Self-motivated and self-sufficient, while having the confidence to seek guidance and direction as needed
Critical thinking and negotiation skills
Attention to detail
Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
