Providence Health & Services is Hiring a Senior Patient Services Specialist Near Edmonds, WA

Job Description
The Patient Services Coordinator II functions as an integral team member of the Swedish Radiosurgery Center (SRC) and as such assumes a key role in effective customer service. The PSC II exercises independence in the planning and accomplishment of a wide spectrum of clerical and administrative duties. Responsibilities include: scheduling of new patient and follow up appointments and subsequent treatments, patient referrals, patient registration, preparing and maintaining the patient's medical record, charge entry and billing issue resolution, answering multiple phone lines and triaging phone calls, preparation of monthly statistics. Excellent communication and problem solving skills around patient care and clinic matters are vital.

Required Qualifications:
  • 1 year of receptionist or front desk experience in a clinic or hospital setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent from a college or technical school.
  • Business courses.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
