Description

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant- Providence Home Services Oregon

Schedule: Monday- Friday, Full time, Day Shift

Under the supervision of the occupational therapist, provides skilled occupational therapy to patients/clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities in a home setting in accordance with a physicians plan of treatment, taking into account individual patients special physical or age-related needs. Assesses needs and provides COTA plan for services and direct treatment. The COTA functions as a member of the inter-disciplinary team.

Required qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
  • Oregon Occupational Therapist Assistant License upon hire
  • Required upon hire: Washington Occupational Therapist Assistant License upon hire - if practicing within this state
  • 1 year of Clinical experience per the State of Oregon.

About the Team

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.

HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses.
