Providence Health is Hiring a LPN - Home Health Near Tukwila, WA

Description

Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Health with Providence Home Health in King County.

$5,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payments.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with rotating weekend coverage

Service Area: North King County (Seattle to Shoreline)

Job Description:

The Licensed Practical Nurse assists the Registered Nurse in the planning and delivery of nursing care and to assist with the rehabilitation of patients in their place of residence on an intermittent basis. The RN develops a treatment plan which is instituted in accordance with physician orders. The LPN also assists in educating patients to promote self-care.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program.
  • Washington Licensed Practical Nurse upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

  • Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.

Preferred Qualification:

  • 1 year recent hospital, nursing home or home health experience.

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.
