The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of technical work related to the taking and processing of x-ray films and work relative to the department's scope of activities as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of a program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association. Or Education and training as determined by the radiologist.
• California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Mammography upon hire.
• Experience as a Radiology Technologist; 2 years preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Member of the California Society of Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
