Mental Health Counselor - Child and Adolescent at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center, in Oregon City, OR.
Multiple Positions available for various shifts and schedules
The Specialist-Mental Health (MHS) works with other members of inpatient unit staff to provide patient care in a variety of job duties, and under the direct supervision of the RN, or the Mental Health Professional Therapist, or the inpatient unit Manager or Director.
Provides hospital level and focused patient care, support, and milieu management for patients with behavioral health conditions and illness. Under the direction of an RN or other designated clinical staff, observes and reports on patient conditions. Responsible for and/or supports the daily and various therapeutic activities care of the patients. Collaborates with the multi-disciplinary treatment team in the initial developing and modification of treatment care plans both during the admission process, and during the in-patient hospitalization.
