Description

To evaluate and treat patients, check their communication, cognition and swallowing disorders. Develops, coordinates and maintains Speech Language Pathology services in collaboration with physicians, primary partners, and patient/family. Assists in direct patient care. Collaborates with other team members to plan and provide important aspects of care, in compliance with standards and guidelines established by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.

This posting is for multiple openings of a Speech Language Pathologist at St. Elias Specialty Hospital in Anchorage, AK. We are hiring for the following positions in the Speech Therapy Department:

• Speech Language Pathologist - Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Day Shift, Hours Per Week are as needed.

Required qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.

Preferred qualifications:

• Upon hire: Alaska Speech Language Pathologist License.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
