**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents.

**Responsibilities:**

- Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs

- Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify and address maintenance issues

- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents

- Help with the setup and breakdown of equipment for events or activities

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

**Qualifications:**

- Experience in general maintenance work is preferred

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed

- Knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures

**Nice-to-Have Skills:**

- Ability to drive for errands or transportation needs

- Awareness of resident rights and privacy regulations
