We strive to make housing both easy and affordable, and take pride in the quality of our homes and providing residents with the best service possible. We currently own and manage approximately 300 commercial and residential units.

Position Reports To Asset Manager

Job Description: We are seeking a full-time Property Management Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player. A large part of the candidate’s day will be spent managing front-of-house operations and helping the Property Management and Leasing team. The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively and convert leads to showings.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Administrative

  • Establishing and implementing front-of-house office routines
  • Greeting all incoming visitors with a warm and friendly welcome
  • Open, sort, and scan incoming mail daily
  • Ordering/organizing office supplies as well as kitchen/bathroom supplies
  • Perform out-of-office tasks and deliveries when needed

Property Management

  • Manage Utilities
  • Reviewing leases
  • Turning on and off utilities
  • Entering utility invoices to be paid and ensuring payments are in a timely fashion
  • Billing back utility charges to tenants
  • Reviewing applications, entering into Buildium
  • Coordinate with vendors' property turnovers
  • Prepare and review lease agreements, ensuring all necessary clauses are included and understood by both parties.
  • Screen and qualify potential tenants by conducting background checks, verifying references, and assessing financial qualifications.
  • Assist with scheduling vendors for Property Management (Cleanings, trash removal etc)
  • Collect laundry income
  • Assist the Property management team with coordinating turnovers with the maintenance team.
  • Any miscellaneous projects for the Property Management and Leasing departments

Leasing

  • Foster positive relationships with tenants through effective communication and responsiveness.
  • Conduct showings for prospective tenants, including a rotating weekend showing schedule.
  • Assist applicants with the leasing process, including completing applications, providing necessary documentation, and explaining lease terms.
  • Assist with calling leads and helping schedule showings by coordinating with current tenants and leasing agents.
  • Assist the leasing team with posting and maintaining rental listings.

Social Media Management

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement.
  • Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Manage day-to-day activities on social media channels, including content scheduling, posting, monitoring, and responding to comments and messages.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications and recommend strategies to keep the company ahead in the digital space.

Position Requirements:

  • Must have excellent verbal, written, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
  • Must be familiar with Google Drive and social media platforms
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs

Compensation:

  • Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 based on experience
  • Commission Eligible after Six Months
  • ~40 hours per week, Monday - Friday ( some weekends required)
  • 2 weeks of paid time off
  • Healthcare insurance coverage available
