Job Description:

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 years full time experience practicing as a registered nurse in a Long Term Care, Medical/Surgical Unit, and/or Skilled Nursing Facility
  • 1 year recent, hands-on technical clinical experience (occurring within the last three years) in a Medicare-certified Homecare or Hospice agency/facility doing intermittent visits and case management
  • Recent hands-on experience in wound care, venipuncture, ostomy, catheters, and feeding tubes
  • Rehab nursing experience
  • Experience working with an EMR system
  • Experience with office software programs including Outlook, Word, and/or Excel

About the Team

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.

HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses. Our core competencies include restorative care, longitudinal care and care through the end of life.
