Description
This position is responsible for providing seamless customer service in the area of meals/floor stock/nourishment/food preferences. Handles food according to HACCP guidelines and is aware of minimum standards for a quality food service operation. Responsible for accuracy of all assembled meal orders, maintaining par stocks, ordering supplies and rotating products for maximum quality.

Required qualifications:
Upon hire: National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority
Upon hire: TB test completed by start date
Experience cooking with industrial cooking equipment.
6 months of prior restaurant and/or institutional food service experience.
Preferred qualifications:
4 years of experience in a health-care related culinary environment (prep work and/or grill work).
Customer service experience.

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.
HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses.
