Description
The Physical Therapist Assistant functions under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist responsible for a specific client's care. The Physical Therapist Assistant assumes responsibility and accountability for providing physical therapy treatment procedures, case management and carries out discharge plans as specified by the treatment plan established by a Physical Therapist and in accordance with established facility/agency policies while maintaining the highest degree of quality client care. The function of the position actively incorporates the Mission and Vision of Providence Health Systems.

Required qualifications:
Associates degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Or Coursework/Training: Successfully completed a Board approved Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
upon hire: Washington Physical Therapy Assistant License.
upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
Preferred qualifications:
- 1 year Experience with adult physical disabilities as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

About the Team
Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.
HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses.
