RN - Telemetry at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center in San Pedro", CA. We have full-time positions that will work 12-hour shifts.

This exciting and fast-paced Telemetry Unit has 37 patient beds for patients at both the telemetry level of care (ratio 4:1) and medical-surgical level of care (ratio 5:1). Our highly skilled team cares for patients that have a variety of conditions, including but not limited to new onset cardiac arrhythmias, chest pain with elevated troponins, neurovascular diagnoses including seizures, CVA and TIAs, in addition to all standard Medical-Surgical Telemetry patient populations.

We are also the designated unit for surgical excellence, as we focus on providing exceptional post-operative care for orthopedic, gastrointestinal, and gynecologic surgical services, to name a few. This unit also serves as our designated inpatient stroke unit.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 1 year Nursing experience.

Preferred Qualification:

• National Certification in area of specialty upon hire.
