DescriptionThe Mental Health Therapist II-School position is integrated into a school environment and partners with the Providence clinical team and school personnel to impact the overall health and wellness of the school population. The Mental Health Therapist II provides clinical services including but not limited to mental health/substance use assessments, treatment planning, individual, group, and family therapeutic interventions, crisis intervention, risk assessment, education, and case management. The therapist also provides education, support, and consultation services to the academic team. Provides support, education, and guidance to the Mental Health Therapist II.

Hours: Full-time, 1.0 FTE, Variable Shift, 40 Hours Per Week
  • $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

  • Master's Degree Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work or health related field.
  • upon hire: Alaska Masters Social Worker License. Or
  • upon hire: Alaska Clinical Social Worker License. Or
  • upon hire: Alaska Psychologist License. Or
  • upon hire: Alaska Marriage and Family Therapist License. Or
  • upon hire: Alaska Professional Counselor License.
  • 5 years Clinical experience.
