Job Description
Under the Direction of the Director of Facilities:
Responsible for providing strategic direction, planning, and leadership for all aspects of departmental functions for the Facilities Division, which includes Engineering Services and Bio Medical Departments, in order to maintain their efficient operation. Coordinates and administers policies, procedures, programs, and resource planning within the Division in support of overall hospital goals and objectives. Responsible for management and supervision of Management staff within these areas

Required qualifications:

• California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire
• 3 years of progressive management/supervision experience in construction, and maintenance of equipment, utilities, and buildings, in healthcare.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent field.
• Upon hire: Los Angeles County Boiler Operator License
• Upon hire: Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager designation (CHFM)

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
