Senior Sterile Processing Technician in the Surgical Services Unit at Providence Saint Johns Health Center in Santa Monica, CA.

Positions available are full-time and will work 8-hour Evening Shifts.

Supervises all clinical and production functions of assigned shift in the SPD department.

Required Qualifications :

• National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association upon hire Or,
• National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution upon hire. Or,
• National Certified Instrument Specialist - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association upon hire.
• Certified Endoscope Reprocessor - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association within 1 year of hire.
• Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within 1 year of hire.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Coursework / Training - Training in Sterile Processing.
• 3 years - Instrumentation / sterilization experience in an acute hospital.
• 4 years - Instrumentation / sterilization experience in an ambulatory care setting.
