About the role:

As the Assistant Operations Manager at Providers International, you will be responsible for managing multiple teams of security officers, coordinating scheduling, payroll, training, and support. You will assist in high-visibility infrastructure security upgrade projects, create and maintain security policies, and build strong relationships with clients and internal teams. Your role is crucial in ensuring our security operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple teams of security officers, coordinating scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development, and support.
  • Conduct regular security inspections and investigate threats and breaches.
  • Assist with high-visibility and mission-critical infrastructure security upgrade projects.
  • Create, implement, and maintain security policies that meet regulations, company policies, and client needs.
  • Write incident reports and document patrol officer activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and clients.
  • Submit regular reports to the leadership and HR teams, as needed.
  • Collaboratively oversee and direct the work of armed and unarmed guards across various sites and clients, ensuring that each client receives the highest possible level of service and support.
  • Work with the Operations Manager to oversee regional operations, project timelines, business developments, and employee productivity while building a highly inclusive culture to ensure team members thrive.
  • Address any operational issues that could hamper the company’s progress in the short term, as well as work with the Operations Manager to resolve any long-term operational challenges.
  • Think critically and prioritize employee needs, while also taking into consideration the goals and direction of the CEO’s strategy for each area of the business.

Qualifications:

  • Strong management and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Experience in managing security operations is preferred.
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.
  • Proficiency in using security and scheduling software is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Compensation for this role is $56,000 annually, as a salary-exempt employee, paid bi-weekly.
  • Benefits such as medical, dental, and retirement will be offered after 6 months of employment.
  • Providers International may provide a company credit card for gas and other company-related expenses.
  • Company-subsidized fuel benefit, allowing you to fill up your personal vehicle’s gas tank weekly, using the company credit card.
  • 80 hours of PTO per year, following 6 months of continuous employment.
  • Paid Sick Time: You'll earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked, with a yearly limit of 40 hours of Paid Sick Leave.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time role, typically scheduled from Monday to Friday, 9-5. The role may require occasional evening or weekend work depending on the demands of the projects and operations.
