SUMMARY

Executes activities to ensure quality assurance/quality control of products and processes consistent with Provisio’s Quality Management System. The position works on an Alternating Work Schedule of 9/80.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections as required by component drawings, manufacturing instructions, and/or test instructions.
• Perform 1st Article, In-Process and Final Inspections for components, sub-assembly, and final product release.
• Approval of all defined requirements and documentation to release parts/components.
• Documents incoming, in-process and final inspection and testing of components and assemblies.
• Executes and enters data for non-conformances.
• Inform the production team about quality control concerns.
• Provide Quality support to key processes and product development and improvement projects.
• Coordinates equipment calibration and documentation.
• Support other functional areas as needed.
• Maintains clean and orderly work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

• High School or GED Equivalent

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

• 2 years’ experience inspecting electrical and mechanical components and assemblies
• Ideally experience with interventional or endovascular catheter electro-mechanical testing, prototyping and assembly
• Ability to handle, maneuver and inspect small components and parts smaller than 1mm X 1mm under a microscope.
• Ability to use electrical and mechanical measurement equipment.
• Good computer and database skills, Microsoft Word and Excel required
• Awareness of the need to maintain accurate records and to follow SOPs and other instructions.
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas with production staff and supervision.
• Good writing skills, high degree of organization and excellent attention to detail.
