HOURLY WAGE: $43.00/HR

Night Shift differential is an extra:

• $4.00/hour, 7p-7a, Sunday night -Friday morning
• $6.00/hour, 7p-7a, Friday night – Sunday morning

Charge Nurse differential is $3.00/hour extra, on top of the night shift differential when qualified and designated as the Charge Nurse

Extra Shift Incentive:

• For every shift an RN picks up their FT schedule (three 12-hour shifts per week) they would receive an additional $40/hour for the night shift.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Med Surg/ER Registered Nurse practices under the supervision of the Director of Acute & Emergency Services. The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individual patient care according to SAH policies and procedures. Supports and upholds the Patient Bill of Rights. Provides, prescribes, delegates and coordinates nursing care with other health care providers to meet holistic needs of patients. They will be working with patients in Emergency (Level IV Trauma certified), Inpatient (Med/Surg), Swing Bed, Hospice, and Observation.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing. - Preferred
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. - Required
• Licensed to practice professional nursing in the state of Nebraska. - Required
• 1 year of experience in acute and/or emergency room setting - Strongly Preferred
• Experience in providing care to a general population - Preferred
• ACLS & PALS - Required (or will have to obtain within 6 months of employment)
• TNCC Certification - Required (within 1 year of employment)
• BLS Certification - Required
