Job Description
A Day in the Life:
PRT Growing Services Ltd. is searching for an experienced full-time, permanent Contract and Sales Administrator (CSA) to provide exceptional service and administrative support to our customers, the Customer Support Representatives (CSR) and Nursery Personnel. The CSA will be responsible for incoming customer calls and emails, maintaining order information in custom software systems, large volumes of data entry, preparation of customer contracts, administration of invoicing and various reporting. Working alongside our Finance and Administration teams, the CSA provides support with accounts receivable, general accounting and ensures accurate records and reporting. The successful candidate must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities while having the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues. PRT displays a strong passion for supporting forest renewal and resource sustainability, the CSA will be part of a Customer Support team that supports the forest industry and exudes pride in having a positive impact on the sustainability and competitiveness of the forest industry.
Key Accountabilities of the Contract and Sales Administrator (CSA):
  • Perform administrative sales tasks
  • Keep neat and accurate records
  • Create sales reports, annual Marketing Plans and presentations
  • Correspond with customers
  • Follow and enforce safe work practices
  • Encourage innovation and continuous improvement
  • Promote collaboration and teamwork at all levels
  • Set targets (i.e., production, timelines) and evaluate achievement
About the team:
The Customer Contract and Sales Administrator will report to the CSA Supervisor. This position can be based out of any of PRT locations with preference given to candidates based out of PRT Dryden, ON, or PRT Brighton, MI.
Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum of 5-year experience supporting an active and geographically dispersed sales or project team
  • Strong forestry, silviculture and forest seedling growing knowledge.
  • Strong customer service skills, ability to communicate tactfully, efficiently, and effectively with all levels of staff and external parties.
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and superior work ethic
  • Proven experience working with customer contracts with the ability to interpret and manipulate detailed information
  • Good working knowledge of accounting processes as it relates to maintaining customer accounts; account receivable, credit/collections, and revenue recognition.
  • Strong planning, organization, and time management skills
  • Good problem-solving capabilities, proactive and self-motivated
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
  • Robust computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Work, Outlook)
  • Experience operating with a high level of confidentiality and adherence to corporate compliance, reporting, and company policies
