RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily reconciliations of cash receipts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Post and allocate customer payments accurately and efficiently.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to accounts receivable.
- Work closely with internal teams to address customer inquiries and discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency in the accounts receivable function.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or similar roles in the fashion industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with [specific software if applicable] is a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in cash reconciliations is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Able to work in office Monday - Friday in DTLA
