Now hiring a Sourcing/Production Manager with experience in procurement and import supply management. Will oversee the company's Supply Chain and Procurement team. The ideal candidate will exhibit organizational and communication abilities and a strong background in formulating and executing strategic procurement policies to maintain a seamless supply chain.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and direct the Supply Chain and Procurement team, driving innovative procurement strategies and policy improvements.
- Analyze and propose enhancements for supply chain and procurement processes to senior management.
- Propel growth and manage performance through policy refinement and efficiency initiatives.
- Develop and implement performance reviews for suppliers to ensure robust and productive partnerships.
- Stay informed on market trends and deliver critical market insights for strategic decision-making.
- Assess risks and employ strategies to minimize them, ensuring business continuity and reducing dependency on single suppliers.
- Ensure internal and external policies, social compliance standards, regulations, and laws are adhered to.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree, Bilingual - Spanish and English
- 10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, and import supply relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to excel in analytical and strategic thinking.
- Strong business acumen with a focus on cost management and quality assurance.
- Process-driven approach to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Able to work with executive and senior leadership, demonstrating exceptional influence and presentation skills.
