Your Role
We are hiring a motivated and results-driven Business Development Professional in the North or South Carolina area. Candidates should have an advanced understanding of the industry market with a strong background in selling professional services in validation, quality, engineering, and related.
Seeking excellent communication and interpersonal skills, in order to develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers and stakeholders. Travel is required.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related. Proven success in a business development, sales, sales engineer, project engineer, or related role in the life sciences industry.
Direct industry, client-facing experience in an engineering or project management role within pharmaceutical manufacturing and biotechnology is strongly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in selling professional services related to validation services, quality, engineering, and so on.
Proven success in effectively targeting opportunities for growth, prospect, and nurturing potential leads. Proven success in achieving sales goals.
In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the life science sector. In-depth knowledge of the industry market.
Proactive, go-getter attitude, and passionate about providing excellent customer service. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Goal-oriented, ability to set goals and develop / drive action plans. Ability to foster and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers and additional stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Motivated and driven, and willing to learn.
Adaptable and flexible. Travel is required.
